Lost Tribe Esports-Sponsored Team Moves Into Third Place in National Middle School League

The Lost Tribe Esports Rocket League (RL) team continued their hot streak in dominating fashion. Entering the second half of the inaugural Middle School Esports League (MSEL) Fall 2020 Rocket League tournament, Lost Tribe has won four straight and holds a record of 4-1, good for top ten in the tournament. In Week 6, the team took on the 63rd ranked Bearcats (1-4) in a best of five series.

With a dominating 7-1 Game 1 win (shoutout Brazil), Lost Tribe Esports took control of the series and never looked back. In Game 2, they amped up their defense and shutout the Bearcats 4-0. The team was able to close out the series with a commanding 5-1 victory in Game 3, sweeping the series 3-0. The team’s keys to victory were playing with aggression, communicating with each other, and not taking their foot off the gas for a single second. They outscored the Bearcats 16-2 in the series.

With their fifth straight regular season win, Lost Tribe moves to 3rd place in the standings with a record of 5-1. Only two of the 187 teams in the MSEL Fall 2020 RL tournament lead at 5-0. If the team can stay hot in the second half of the season, they would be set to make the playoffs in both the league and team’s first season.

The Lost Tribe Rocket League team is composed of players aged 11-13 from the Lost Tribe Esports community of Jewish gamers. Lost Tribe is proud to sponsor and coach them in this first-ever, national Middle School Esports League (MSEL) competition. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments, and the lessons they are learning in teamwork, communication, and how to learn from both wins and losses.
