Chick-Fil-A? More like Chick-Fil-B+

Ok hear me out, Chick-Fil-A is good and is always dependable, but would I say that it is the best fast food chain restaurant; no.

Chick-Fil-A has been the topic of some heavy controversary in the past few years due to the leaked information of where the money you gave to that beloved spicy chicken sandwich was actually going. Chief Executive Officer Dan T. Cathy has outwardly made comments opposing same sex marriage and it even came forward that Chick-Fil-A was donating millions of dollars to anti-LGBTQ companies.

After the following news had come out, many boycotted Chick-Fil-A and had given up the crisp waffle fries dipped in the notable Chick-Fil-A sauce as a form of resilience and a demand for change.

Now in a recent effort to save their business, Chick-Fil-A has set aside $9 million dollars that will be given to the following three initiatives: Combating youth homelessness, promoting youth education and fighting hunger. Does it erase their past, no, but should we respect the efforts, probably.

Now, all controversy aside, I must say, I love their spicy chicken sandwich. After my four-year hiatus of NO Chick-Fil-A because of the controversy, I must say I was excited to finally get my hands on one of those bad boys. Although I haven’t tried anything else on the menu, I can say that the variety is pretty basic, but I guess it’s called Chick-Fil-A for a reason… they specialize in chicken. Now some people love the fries, and I mean like saying that they are the best fries they’ve ever had, and I would politely disagree. I’ve had them once and they were cold, soggy and well, uncooked. I must say though, the ice is too die for. Yes, you read that right. Chick-Fil-A ice is soft yet crunchy, you gotta try it to understand what I mean. My move is getting the Chick-Fil-A spicy chicken sandwich with sweet siracha sauce, Chic Fila sauce, ranch and honey mustard and then stopping by McDonalds for a large fry but that’s for another review!
